Kananaskis Adventure Family Portrait Session

Where do I begin with this gorgeous adventure family session in Kananaskis Alberta. Linh and her family reached out prior to their visit to Canada all the way from Texas! Visiting their family, Linh wanted photos of her husband and two kids while they were visiting and wanted a backdrop to showcase such a beautiful vacation.

I knew that Barrier Lake in Kananaskis was the perfect location for them as it is easy to get to from Calgary, and has a ton of location to explore and play - perfect for two young children!

The wind was fully at play and the sun was warm and shining. I knew we had to plan our session a touch earlier than sunset in order to get the most out of the session before the sun dipped below the mountains.

One of my favourite family sessions this year! If this Alberta Family Session were to have a theme it would be: MOVEMENT.
