Stunning Manitoba Small Town Wedding

When I was asked to photograph Lane and Jacob’s wedding in Manitoba, I was so elated! As Lane’s cousin, this was such an honour.

They hosted their wedding (both the ceremony and reception) on Lane’s family property; an acreage right outside the small town of Souris, Manitoba. Taking months and months to prepare for the event, the ceremony location (which hosts horses year-round), overlooked the Souris river. Lane arrived, with her younger brother, who drove their late father’s car to the ceremony space. Not a dry eye was in sight and was a special momento to him and his legacy. Their officiant, Shonah, was also hired for the reception tent. Kudos to her!

With the help of so many people, they managed to pull of the wedding of the year! I will hold this wedding in my heart for years to come. Scroll to see the beautiful day!
